What Did Jesus Preach?

Ladies Bible Study begins again on January 8th and I think some review by way of this blog and Facebook would be helpful as we arrive closer to our goal of studying the life of Abraham.  I am having so much fun – you must join me.  “Who teaches like Him?”  Job 36:22

Listen to Him:  Mt 17:5 While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!”

What was the message Jesus Christ preached?

Mr 1:14 ¶ And after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent (change your beliefs) and believe in the gospel.” 17 And Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” (concerning the gospel of the kingdom of God) 21 And they *went into Capernaum; and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and began to teach (the gospel of the kingdom). 22 And they were amazed at His teaching; for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. 27 And they were all amazed, so that they debated among themselves, saying, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.”

Mt 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Mt 4:23 ¶ And Jesus was going about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.

Lu 8:1 And it came about soon afterwards, that He began going about from one city and village to another, proclaiming and preaching the kingdom of God; and the twelve were with Him,
