Catarac surgery report….

That was fast!  Joy drove us.  Left house this morning at 11:00.  The surgery part took only 5 minutes.  I did not notice when we left the building, but we had finished our lunch at Chick-fil-a at 12:30, made another stop at Nutrition World.  Home, about 1:45.  Easiest surgery yet.

We are VERY thankful there was no floppy iris (a side effect of Flomax, which Bob has taken for about 3 years).  His pupil dilated very large and that was a good thing.  Joy and I watched.  Quick, fascinating.  Everything explained to us.  We understood each step.  We saw the massive yellowish, brownish offender being vacuumed out of his eye and a fresh new silicone one attached.

So – no need for me to fear!  But, I think I will still wait a few months.  🙂
