Angels from the Realms of Glory, part 13…

Okay, let’s see if I can sum up this mini angel subject. There is so much more! Today, though, I will print for you some random verses that convey to us more of the ministering of these created beings. The first one is a warning:

2Co 11:13-15 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their deeds. It is tempting to comment on these verses, however, they are quite plain.

(Gal 1:8) But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

(1Co 13:1) If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

(Gal 3:19) Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions, having been ordained through angels by the agency of a mediator, until the seed should come to whom the promise had been made.

Another warning: (Col 2:18) Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement and the worship of the angels, taking his stand on visions he has seen, inflated without cause by his fleshly mind,

(2Th 1:7) and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire,

(1Ti 3:16) And by common confession great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Beheld by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.

(1Ti 5:21) I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of His chosen angels, to maintain these principles without bias, doing nothing in a spirit of partiality.

And, I cannot leave out this one from Romans 8:

(Rom 8:38- 39) For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
