Gabriel’s Announcements, cont’d…

Bless the LORD, ye His angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His Word.” – Psalm 103:20

Sometimes, angels are called “ministers:” Who maketh His angels spirits; His ministers a flaming fire.” – Psalm 104:4 and Hebrews 1:7

Hebrews, chapters 1 and 2 gives us much information – and blessings – concerning angels. One thing, however, that you need to know:

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?” – Hebrews 1:14

(Inheritance is a family matter! This salvation has to do with those already in the family. This salvation is an inheritance. This salvation in chapter 1 of Hebrews is built upon – knowledge upon knowledge – as each chapter in this book, builds upon the previous one. Chapters 2 thru 12 begin with a conjunction – each one dependent upon the previous one.)

Gabriel deals with the coming kingdom reign of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, the Christ in the passages mentioned yesterday. Review them. Angels are the ministers to the elect of God.

Gabriel gives Daniel prophecy concerning the coming tribulation which takes place at the end of this age.

Gabriel gives to Zacharias the news of the promised forerunner before Christ’s earthly appearance. Zacharias’ son will be born and proclaim “in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous; so as to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” – Luke 1:17, Malachi 4:6 – thus, continuing the prophecy given to Daniel.

And, continuing this prophecy, Gabriel appears to THE virgin – Mary:

…you will conceive in your womb, and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and His kingdom will have no end.” – Luke 1:31-33.

This prophecy, building upon the above two, brings us all the way through the coming ages. “His kingdom” begins with the first 1,000 years of His rule with a rod of iron.

Rev 5:10 And You have made them a kingdom, (royal race) and priests to our God, and they shall reign [as kings] over the earth! [Exod. 19:6; Isa. 61:6

Rev 12:10 Then I heard a strong (loud) voice in heaven, saying, Now it has come–the salvation and the power and the kingdom (the dominion, the reign) of our God, and the power (the sovereignty, the authority) of His Christ (the Messiah); for the accuser of our brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out! [Job 1:9-11.]

Rev 11:15 The seventh angel then blew [his] trumpet, and there were mighty voices in heaven, shouting, The dominion (kingdom, sovereignty, rule) of the world has now come into the possession and become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ (the Messiah), and He shall reign forever and ever (for the ages of the ages)! [Ps. 22:28; Dan. 7:13, 14, 27.]

Rev 20:2 And he gripped and overpowered the dragon, that old serpent [of primeval times], who is the devil and Satan, and [securely] bound him for a thousand years. Rev 20:3 Then he hurled him into the Abyss (the bottomless pit) and closed it and sealed it above him, so that he should no longer lead astray and deceive and seduce the nations until the thousand years were at an end. After that he must be liberated for a short time. Rev 20:4 Then I saw thrones, and sitting on them were those to whom authority to act as judges and to pass sentence was entrusted. Also I saw the souls of those who had been slain with axes [beheaded] for their witnessing to Jesus and [for preaching and testifying] for the Word of God, and who had refused to pay homage to the beast or his statue and had not accepted his mark or permitted it to be stamped on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived again and ruled with Christ (the Messiah) a thousand years. [Dan. 7:9, 22, 27.] Rev 20:5 The remainder of the dead were not restored to life again until the 1,000tyears were completed. This is the first resurrection. Rev 20:6 Blessed (happy, to be envied) and holy (spiritually whole, of unimpaired innocence and proved virtue) is the person who takes part (shares) in the first resurrection! Over them the second death exerts no power or authority, but they shall be ministers of God and of Christ (the Messiah), and they shall rule along with Him a thousand years.

Rev 22:19 And if anyone cancels or takes away from the statements of the book of this prophecy [these predictions relating to Christ’s kingdom and its speedy triumph, together with the consolations and admonitions or warnings pertaining to them], God will cancel and take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the city of holiness (purity and hallowedness), which are described and promised in this book. Rev 22:20 He Who gives this warning and affirms and testifies to these things says, Yes (it is true). [Surely] I am coming quickly (swiftly, speedily). Amen (so let it be)! Yes, come, Lord Jesus! Rev 22:21 The grace (blessing and favor) of the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be with all the saints (God’s holy people, those set apart for God, to be, as it were, exclusively His). Amen (so let it be)! (AMP)

THERE IS NO GOSPEL – GOOD NEWS – WITHOUT THE KINGDOM! “The Spirit and bride say, ‘Come.’ and let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.” – Rev. 22:17 (NAS)
