…a Bible student's notes…

You probably have a hundred things to do besides…..

….LISTENING TO CHUCK MISSLER AND ELISABETH ELLIOTT….

……..take a break……..

……..just do necessary chores – delighting in them, of course………

…….kick off your sandals, and do some listening……..

Chuck Missler on 66/40 is teaching the book of Proverbs and I heard yesterday’s and thought of you.  The URL follows, and click on “Righteousness vs Wickedness” Part 1:  http://khouse.org/6640/currentbroadcast/  It is just 26 minutes long.  I have subscribed to the podcast on iTunes.  That’s a good idea.

This other listening site of Elisabeth Elliott speeches is:  http://www.blueletterbible.org/audio_video/comm_topic.cfm?AuthorID=44&commInfo=40&GroupID=0.  These are listened to online and are of varying lengths.  Just look at those titles.  There isn’t an uninteresting one in the bunch.  For me, each one is sorely needed.

Headaches abound for me.  I trudge on.  I am “afflicted so as to learn the Lord’s statues,” as David said.

I am still setting up my new lap top and will have to learn some new “tech things” about my iPod and loading up videos.  And, Bob has a digital camera he doesn’t use.  When he gets me the camera, plug-ins, and instructions together, I will be learning that, too.  I cannot find some modules downloaded for e-sword – KJV+tvm.  They were unzipped on my hard drive and I’ve searched everywhere for them.

I’m reading some good books – about 3 or 4 at a time – and will tell you the titles later.
